The addition of Paul Michaels to the Heartwood stew has been a meaty success. Hailing from the cold climes of Detroit, Michigan, he is rapidly acclimating to the balmy summers we enjoy in North Carolina.
Stephan met Paul at a Tree Climbing Championship in Ohio in June of 2007. So enamored by Paul's gravitas and strikingly similar facial features, Stephan went to work immediately to get Paul hired by Heartwood. By June 2008, Paul, his wife and son moved down to Charlotte making Paul Heartwood's "new fish". Paul is now old hat at Heartwood, and has taught so many new things to our other old dogs that he has smashed the adage "you can't teach an old dog new tricks".
We are so glad to have Paul in the ranks of Heartwood's team, and hope our clients get to experience his unique charm on their property, or in their tree, or the after-effects of his charm in their tree (we're talking about the good job he does).
